Though we’ve been home for a few weeks now, we are inspired daily by the food we ate in Europe — especially Paris.
My favorite was this lovely Provençal restaurant Josh found: Chez Janou.
We enjoyed amazing dishes like roast duck and escargot pasta.
I wore an outfit that I’d been saving especially for the last night of the trip.
This lacy little number (as well as the jacket) came from Spiegel — who I thought had totally vanished! I remember shopping there as a kid, so was pleasantly surprised to find they offer a variety of quality items online now.
Now don’t get me wrong, I love this dress (it’s called the Isabella Dress and is on sale now!), but for me the real star of this outfit is the jacket. To be honest, I loved it so much I wore it all over London, too.
The Riley Jacket is sort of a blazer/motorcycle jacket hybrid — making it perfect for a casual or fancy pants night.
I have to say, wearing a special piece of clothing on vacation makes me less likely to stock up on souvenirs, because any time I want to revisit my vacation, I can just reach into my closet.
Speaking of which, I think I’ll wear my Riley Jacket today and think of Paris all day long.
A big thanks to Spiegel for providing me with the gorgeous dress and camisole for this post. Collaborating with companies like this allow me to grow my brand in an accessible way. Check them out and let me know what you think of the pieces you try!
