I don’t know about you, but when I travel I tend to feel unprepared and flustered — no matter how many lists I’ve made or how many days I’ve prepared!

All this tends to lead to a cranky/unattractive feeling. Not good for an 8 hour transatlantic flight. This time around, I was determined to feel prepared, comfortable and happy.

The foundation to any comfortable flight is a good outfit. My plan was to wear something that felt like pajamas but looked a whole lot more refined. I was hoping to not feel the need to change outfits when I got across the pond.

You can imagine my excitement when the people at Seaside Boutique agreed to let me test out my theory with their Basics line.

Paired with a skinny white belt, black leggings and black flats, I couldn’t imagine a cuter and comfier outfit if I tried.

The best part for me was that when I made it to my final destination (London), all I had to do was spruce up my makeup, throw on some accessories and head out for dinner and drinks!

The dress is cozy and breathable, with the option to cuff and button the sleeves (one of my favorite ways to wear sleeves). It’s also on sale right now, for you lucky ducks who want to try it out.

One of the best things about this outfit is sort of hidden. It’s a one-size-fits-all, super stretchy, super soft camisole. I’ve been on the hunt for a good camisole with no built-in bra for…years? Safe to say I was happy to end my hunt.

I lost count of how many times I wore the camisole on my 2 week trip —  at least 4 or 5 times. I’m big into layers, and this camisole was thin enough to keep my cool and long enough to keep my covered (I went with the charcoal color). Checks all my boxes!

A big thanks to Seaside Boutique for providing me with the gorgeous dress and camisole for this post. Collaborating with companies like this allow me to grow my brand in an accessible way. Check them out and let me know what you think of the pieces you try!
