The third item in this week’s shop update left me a little puzzled…
But before I get into that, here’s what actually made it to the shop:
1960s Berry Cherry Scarf |
Safari Bracelet |
Now, for that third guy:
I am having the hardest time determining if those cream inlays are ivory or bone. I know bone is (obviously) much more commonly found in vintage pieces. However, I’ve been doing a lot of research on identifying ivory and that’s left me even more confused. Any tips?
Hopefully I can figure it out and get it in the shop!
ivory is smoother and could even have a yellowish patina to it. Bone would be rougher or have some small pits. It could also be a type of plastic…that's commonly used also.

I don't know a thing about it, sorry! Love that scarf, though. Thanks for sharing at my party, take care – Dawn
