When I met Billy Craven, co-owner of Galerie F, at Market Daze over the weekend, I was blown away at all he and his wife have accomplished. In addition to being a talented artist, Billy and his wife also spend free time amassing unique and beautiful vintage items that they showcase at sales.
But back to the real matter at hand.
Galerie F is an open-door gallery space in Logan Square that focuses on community artists, print making and street art. Are you as interested as I was? Good news — there’s a show opening this Friday!

“Shake, Rattle, and Roll: Artworks by Nice One and LUCX” opens at Galerie F this Friday, June 13 from 6 – 10 pm. This fully free event will showcase talented Chicago-based street artists. I love admiring all different kinds of art, especially the kinds that just feel “found.” I’m excited to see this unique display in great neighborhood (not that I have a bias or anything…).
I know this isn’t as vintage-themed as my community posts usually are, but rest assured there are many vintage-inspired prints to be found at Galerie F (many of which Billy has created himself). Hope to see you there!
