As promised, I’m going to be sharing some of the vintage hair tutorials I’ve been practicing with over the past few weeks.
You’ll notice there’s not pictures of me to go with the tutorials I post…because I have definitely not perfected any of the styles yet 🙂 For me anyway, they are much harder than they look and require lots of patience.
I found this victory rolls tutorial at Diary of a Vintage Girl, which is a very lovely blog in and of itself. This tutorial is one of the most straightforward I’ve seen:
Once I get better with this and some of the other styles I’ll be sharing, I’ll start wearing them more often and will post some personal photos. Until then, though, I’ll leave it to the professionals!
And if any of you are even remotely good at vintage hairstyles, please share, because I’d love to see!
This always looked so much harder to do, but thanks for making is seem easier! Love your hair. I saw a girl with these and she had pretty red hair. I thought it looked great.
I'm glad this video helped you! Please note that it's not me in the video, though. If you want to know more about the woman who made the tutorial, click the links in the post 🙂
