Even though we’ve had a few warm days here, coat weather has comfortably situated itself in Chicago. I took advantage and busted out my favorite green coat.
At only 69 cents, this pretty coat is my best thrifting find to date. Did you know the Salvation Army stores in Chicago have select items for only 69 cents on Saturdays? It’s fun to go for a little dig and see what there is to find!
Underneath was this flowy blue shirt that I found while shopping with my sister.
She insists on frequent trips to our favorite Goodwill, and I don’t argue because she’s a genius. This has quickly become one of my favorite tops, and at $4 I know the cost-per-wear will be insanely low by the time I’m done with it.
To top it off, I threw on a pair of Payless wedges and my new favorite necklace from Clyde’s Rebirth. Merl is a Chicago jewelry maker who is oh-so-talented and just about the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. Take a look at her stuff — I dare you not to fall in love with something.
